Photo Tip #2 | The Office keyboard shortcut for… everything

Today’s Photo Tip is a real-life superpower. Can you tap and release the ALT key without looking? If not, learn to. Just slide either thumb off the spacebar. Then find one keyboard shortcut for anything that you do frequently in Office. Want to insert a time stamp? Try tapping ALT (and release), N, D. Pull up the Thesaurus in Outlook? ALT, V, E. Please reply if you find a particularly handy shortcut.

  1. Finally had a chance to click the link from Curmudgeonville, and hallelujah I ddi! I took some time to play with this, because I never got it go past the first round of what’s displayed. Realized I needed to release the Alt key, and then it lets me walk through. Then if I hit Esc, it walks me back out through the choose-your-own-Alt-key-adventure I’d taken up to that point. Love it! Thanks!
