“Try not to bring it to life.”

I am a huge advocate for diversity and representation in both computer science and science fiction. Attending the Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing Conference was one of the highlights of my career.

That said, in an age where we’re all striving *not* to build murderous sentient AI machines, please break the mold with this one area where scientists of color have already been adequately represented. In the words of Nick Fury, “Do me a favor. Try not to bring it to life” (Age of Ultron).
