In addition to Curmudgeonville, we have a group called Pollyannaville. It’s a happy place that brings about a little balance – perhaps like Whooville does to Mount Crumpit. Some of the best and hopeful news gets shared there. But it’s never as popular as Curmudgeonville. Why? I think Mr. Tolkien found the answer when describing Bilbo’s stay at Rivendell.
